Mom's birthday

Had a birthday brunch out in the shade in the backyard which felt very Italian. Then the ladies went to the butterfly garden, frozen yogurt at Mochi and Lake Alice. It was gorgeous sundress weather in February. Gotta love Florida. We were hoping for a baby today on Grama and Mom's birthday but this little one has its own plans I guess.

The butterflies landed on us a lot. Aunt Marjorie even said one bit her
(do butterflies have teeth?)

New windows

Dad gave us new windows as a baby gift. Patrick and Dad installed them and they look great!

Patrick's Birthday poker party

Well, I made it through another year. I decided to celebrate with some good friends over a friendly game of poker. Unfortunately, it was not my night. Luckily Andrew was feeling generous and offered to buy breakfast for all if he won the night. It was a 5:30 am when the final hand was dealt and Andrew was indeed the victor. Like a champ, he stuck to his word and we all enjoyed a great breakfast.

Patrick and Ryan enjoying a fresh home-made soda. Thanks Dad.

The Last men standing. Well done Gentleman. Andrew wins with a straight.

January 16th Shands baby shower at Joe's

Having a coed work baby shower at the bar was a great idea. We got to hang out, eat home made sugar cookies (my craving food), open presents, play pool AND watch NFL playoffs.

Baby shower at Rita's

Oregon Mom Linda is here for the baby shower at Rita's. Yummy chicken salad and rosemary lemon cookies. Three generations of ladies celebrating. Six more weeks! The m and ms predicted the baby is a girl but the jelly bellies predicted a boy.

Christmas 2010

Mike Casey and Hank came in from Seattle and we had Christmas eve at our house. Christmas morning with a two and a half year old was awesome. Santa brought Hank the birthday cake he was hoping for. They gave their future niece or nephew "Goldfish" lots of baby gear, toys and books including a stroller Hank helped his daddy detail the day before. Casey patiently took some pregnancy pictures of us. Two months of pregnancy left!

36 hours in Rhode Island

Yo, If Jason ever calls you up and says: "hey man want to come up to Rhode Island for weekend and build some stuff?" You should always say yes! There is something about working with friends that makes it like you are not working at all. Have you ever been up at 2 in the morning putting in the last few screws into a mini ramp... yeah you know what I am talking about. To make it even better Alaska allowed Joe out of their sights just long enough for him to escape. Which made us a perfect crew for drinking. I mean building stuff. I mean building stuff while you drink. yeah. I had a blast! Thank you Jason for letting me come up. I can't wait to see you all again.
